Master of Science in Nursing
The Flight Nursing subspecialty builds on the core Acute
Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) program to prepare students to
provide critical care services in unstructured environments.
Opportunities for students include: (1) the acute care nurse
practitioner/flight nursing (masters' degree) program, (2) a
community outreach program that includes the Academy's annual
Summer Camp and an annual fall conference on bioterrorism, and (3) a
program of research to help develop the evidence base for advanced
nursing practice in air medical services.
