Summer Camp


 

Annual Interdisciplinary Summer Camp

Summer Camp is an annual, week-long interdisciplinary experiential training exercise. Topics will include caring for vulnerable patients (esp. children and pregnant women), airway management including a surgical airway lab, airway management in confined spaces, central venous access lab, tube thoracostomy lab,suturing lab, monitoring reperfusion, cardiac assist devices, radiograph and ultrasound interpretation, flight safety, preparing landing zones, flight physiology, team building across cultures, clinical management of simulated patients, and multicasualty disaster scene response.  Summer Camp is open to registered nurses who have a desire to pursue an advanced degree as an advanced practice nurse.  More on prior years' summer camp.
